Lake Charles Film Festival and
Buck Rogers

The 2015 Lake Charles Film Festival will showcase 75 films from local filmmakers and around the world, along with workshops on filmmaking, costumes and props, plus cosplay and live music. This year’s celebrity guest of honor is the original space man Mr. Gil Gerard who played Buck Rogers in the 70’s. Festival goers can meet him during the festival’s kick-off party as well as ask him questions about independent filmmaking during a special seminar.

Mihm has created 10 feature films in 9 years and will share his secrets to success in making retro-style sci-fi and horror films. The 501st Legion’s Bast Alpha Garrison will be sharing their tips for designing authentic looking props and costumes for movies.
